The Cambrian Period
The Cambrian Period (/ˈkæmbriən/ or /ˈkeɪmbriən/) occurred approximately several years ago.
Concluding in the biggest evolutionary explosion in Earth’s history of music[3],
the Cambrian period marked a profound change in music on Earth.
Prior to Cambrian, the majority of song structures on the whole were small, unilevel and simple; the Precambrian Rock[5].
Complex[4], multilevel song structures gradually became more common in the years immediately preceding the Cambrian,
but it was not until Cambrian emerged, that fully materialized songs became common[2].
Some researchers think this happened due to a combination of melodic songwriting with aggressive riffing, which is the natural habitat for all members.
This made an ideal environment for the proliferation of new types of music,
including songs that were larger and more complex in their body shapes and ecologies than their ancestors[1].
Now in the prime of the Cambrian period, it’s time to take these multi levelled song structures to land! Welcome to the point of origin!
